More than 90 people follow a course on contract

PUJA Academy Sdn Bhd (PASB) held a one-day course titled “Delay, Non-Completion and Damage in Construction/Engineering Contracts” to highlight the important aspects of handling common delay issues , non-completion and damages in engineering/construction contracts, especially those in the construction industry.

Over 90 participants comprising members of the Institution of Surveyors, Engineers and Architects (PUJA) Brunei, government officials and members of the Attorneys General’s Chambers joined the course, delivered by Ir Harbans Singh KS, Professional Engineer and Chartered , Chartered Arbitrator, Mediator and Arbitrator. The course also exposed participants to the provisions relating to matters of delay, non-performance and damages in the standard construction/engineering contract forms used in this region, and highlighted the rights and duties of the different parties. under contracts, in particular employers, principal and subcontractors.
