New Ross law firm wins Leinster Law Firm of the Year

Law firm NEW ROSS Coghlan Kelly Solicitors have won the Best Law Firm in Leinster award at the Dye & Durham Irish Law Awards 2022.

he winners of the 10th annual awards were announced at an awards ceremony at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.

Employing a large staff, New Ross firm won the coveted award by beating fierce competition from its peers across the region.

With over 400 entries for this year’s awards, the competition was stronger than ever. After intense deliberation by the judges, more than 180 companies were finalists with the possibility of winning an award this year. New categories such as Banking & Finance Legal Team / Lawyer of the Year, Pharma / Life Science Law Firm / Lawyer of the Year and ADR Firm Team / Lawyer of the Year (sponsored by Ormond Meeting Rooms) were introduced and were very competitive .

The awards are intended to identify, honor and publicize outstanding achievement, while recognizing those who have dedicated their lives to service in the legal profession. The annual event is designed to recognize excellence in Ireland’s legal profession, praising the achievements of lawyers. A special lifetime achievement award went to human rights lawyer Noeline Blackwell, chief executive of the Dublin Rape Crisis Center (DRCC). The Special Merit Award went to Maeve O’Rourke.
