Onteora, Rondout Valley, Red Hook Triumph – Daily Freeman

BOICEVILLE, NY – Gianna Tisch scored twice and Ruby Gallin scored once to lead the Onteora High field hockey team to a 3-0 win over
Coxsackie in the school’s regular season finale on Friday.

Luci Leonard assisted on Gallin’s goal.

Onteora finished the regular season with an 8-5 record as it prepares for the Division 9 tournament.

Rondout Valley 9, Ellenville 0

At Accord, Makalah Quick scored four and Lauren Schoonmaker scored two as the Ganders shut out the Blue Devils in a Mid-Hudson Athletic League game.

Rondout Valley, 9-0 in the MHAL game, also got one goal each from Joleigh Kozack, Skylar Henebery and Olivia Waruch. Mackenzie Heyl provided two assists for the Ganders. Olivia Olechowski, Riley Schoonmaker and Lauren Schoonmaker each added an assist.

Rondout had an 8-0 advantage from corners. He also recorded 37 hits while Ellenville had none.

Desirae Baumann didn’t need to make a save as she recorded the shutout for the Ganders, 11-2 overall. Jillian Schaub made 25 saves for Ellenville.

Red Hook 2, Pine Bush 1

At Red Hook, Nina McCann and Liv Christensen scored for the Raiders in the win.

Olivia Jensen and Kylie Knuschke had assists.

Red Hook goalkeeper Anna Faraldi made 10 saves.
