The impending legal confrontation will change the course of golf

By Joseph Hanna and Jason Kaner (July 6, 2022, 4:56 p.m. EDT) – PGA Tour golfers participating in Saudi-backed LIV Golf Invitational Series events are suspended and no longer eligible to participate in PGA events Tour, the recently announced PGA Tour. The widely circulated memo followed a PGA Tour warning to members that they were not permitted to participate in LIV golf events and would be subject to disciplinary action.[1]

LIV Golf responded to the suspensions by saying the ad was “vindictive” and accused the PGA Tour of “stopping golfers from playing.”

In a comment announcing a possible antitrust lawsuit, LIV Golf noted that “[t]this is certainly not the last word…
