The law firm leases an entire floor at 875 Third Ave. of Global Holdings.

JLL announced that the law firm Kaufman Borgeest & Ryan, LLP has leased an entire floor in Global Holdings Management Group’s Class A Midtown East office tower at 875 Third Ave.

KBR was founded in 1997 to provide the highest quality legal services to national and international clients. The firm specializes in the defense of professionals and companies as well as in the representation of insurers, including in coverage litigation. It now has more than 140 attorneys and 230 employees in Manhattan, Garden City, Valhalla, and Buffalo, New York, as well as Los Angeles, CA, Stamford, CT, and Parsippany and Cherry Hill, NJ.

KBR will move from 120 Broadway to occupy 27,117 square feet under a 15-year lease. The company was previously a tenant at 99 Park Ave. of Global Holdings.

JLL rental professionals overseeing the rental assignment of 875 Third Ave. are led by Paul N. Glickman, Vice President; Diana L. Biasotti, Senior Vice President; Kristen E. Morgan, Vice President, and Harrison G. Potter, Partner. The tenant was represented by Howard Greenberg, president of Howard Properties, Ltd., Valhalla New York, which has represented KBR exclusively for over 22 years in partnership with Barry Lewen, director of Cresa.

Originally developed in 1982 by Robert Gladstone, 875 Third Ave. is a 29-story, 750,000 square foot glass office tower located between 52nd and 53rd streets. Home to many top tenants, the property boasts a unique design that creates double-height ceilings on some floors, as well as a newly renovated three-story lobby atrium that underscores Global Holdings’ commitment to maintaining the 875 Third as a premier address in The Corporate Heart of New York.

Global Holdings will soon welcome creative salad company Chopt as a tenant in its renovated atrium, joining I Tavolo, Starbucks and Dunkin. The atrium is also home to a number of services, including KUR Skin Lab, A’s Body Works, and Janet Sartin, and offers direct connection to several subway lines, allowing direct transit to Grand Central, Penn Station, and Port Authority.
